Douglas Newton is a Senior Managing Director and a Co-Founder of CC Capital. He has more than 18 years of professional investing experience across both public and private markets. Doug helped lead CC Capital’s transactions for E2Open, Wilshire, Dun & Bradstreet, Fidelity & Guaranty Life and the recently announced transaction with Getty Images.
Before joining CC Capital, he was a Founding Partner of The WindAcre Partnership, LLC, an investment firm that owns a concentrated, long-term portfolio of global public equities and takes a private equity approach to public market investing. Prior to that, Doug has additional experience as an investment professional at Seneca Capital and DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and in investment banking at Credit-Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Doug received an A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
